What do you think about this to lose weight?
1) Read trashy celebrity magazines. Cut out pictures of celebrities you aspire to be as thin as and stick them on your bedroom wall or even better, on your fridge.
2) Write up a pros and cons list of why you should and shouldn’t eat something
3) Look at yourself in the mirror in your underwear. Pinch at the flab, and remember to stick to your diet
4) Reward yourself for every x kgs you lose – not with food though, with a new accessory such as a cute bracelet or something
5) Buy an item of clothing you would like to be able to fit in after the diet such as a pair of jeans or bikini
6) Write up a list of reasons why you should stick to your diet, and read it before every meal time to stop yourself pigging out
7) Watch desparate housewives, sex and the city or any other movies or tv programmes where all the women are thin and sexy
I found that this really helped me stick to my diet. What do you think of this motivation advice?
That’s exactly what I do and it’s very good motivation. I put all the picture on my closet door and hang up a size small bikini I’m hoping to fit in to so I can remind myself why I’m on this diet in the first place. If it works for you, continue on and don’t listen to anyone who says differently.
