Labret Lip Chin
how can i convince my parents to let me get a labret?
im 14 about to be 15 in november and i want to get a labret for you that dont know what it is its a piercing between the chin and lip its small not really noticable, i could just go get it done and hide it from my parents but i dont want to, i hate hiding things. my parents are cool with peircing only if there in the right spot and i really want a lebret u noe small not big just really small barely noticable.
Most piercers will not do an oral piercing on someone under 16, so you may have to wait another year.
If you want to convince your parents do your homework. Research the piercing and find out proper gauge, lengths, healing time, risks, photos, aftercare….anything and everything you can. Make it into an essay of sorts and present it to your parents. It will show them you are responsible and also teach you a lot along the way. Most parents say no to piercings because of social implications and myths about risks.
